The Intersection of Creativity and Strategy: An Inside Look at the Co-Founder of Superflower and Partner at LEITZES & CO

We all need that one friend who is your go-to, ultimate, partner-in-crime. But, when you have a partner-in-crime on a work level, Oh, the Places You’ll Go! Dynamic duo Cary Leitzes and Olivia Combemale are living proof that talent knows no boundaries.

From an early age, Olivia knew she wanted to pursue a career that combines her creativity with business. She received her undergraduate degree in Media, Culture, and Communication, and a minor in Psychology from New York University. Following graduation, she worked in public relations and quickly realized it wasn’t the right path for her long-term. She was craving a role that would push her to think out-of-the-box. In 2017, Olivia joined the LEITZES & CO team, a creative agency founded by Cary Leitzes. Working at the crossroads of business, art and culture, LEITZES & CO specializes “in bridging the gap between brands and creatives to create blockbuster partnerships.” The company works to identify “new business opportunities and create authentic strategies to fulfill them.” LEITZES & CO has partnered with a variety of major companies in a panoply of industries such as Pepsi, Jimmy Choo, Target, Estee Lauder, Universal Studios and Tomorrowland Music Festival to create innovative and fresh campaigns. Recently, Olivia was promoted to a partner at the agency, serving as the Head of Strategy & Client Services at LEITZES&CO

Olivia and Cary’s work doesn’t stop there.

In September 2019, the duo launched Superflower, a serum that combines cruelty-free and clean CBD skincare with a holistic and healing approach. Superflower’s Everyday Serum is described as the perfect one-step product that will “soothe, hydrate and replenish tired skin.”

Growing up with skin sensitivities, Olivia stressed the importance of creating a product that would genuinely make her daily skincare regime easier, but just as effective (if not more), than a 12-step beauty routine.

The Everyday Serum can be purchased online or in Anthropologie and Madewell stores nationwide.
